What important clues did Inspector Eliot find at Mr. Forley's house? Explain why those clues might be important. (from Alfonso and Keun)

He was quite sorprised to find the windows unlockes, and he found a gate in the back wall of the garden with looked new.!!
And I think clues were very important because he can have a idea that it was a murder and not a suicide.

The window were open this maybe how the killer got in. The gate, is it how the killer get in the back yard with out anyone seeing them?

The windows of the sitting room were opened , he was surprised to find they were unlocked, maybe the murder got in by this place.

he found three important clues, and they were gun, open window, and the fingerprints on the furniture, maybe the killer went in from the window, put the gun in mr. forleys hand, and forget to clean his finger prints.
